Ep #12: The Art of Aligned Action
In 2004, Ron Wilder started his company, named Aligned Action, out of frustration that he had observed in working with two different startups. One of these companies grew successfully, built a great product and ultimately was acquired. The second startup had a great idea but was unable to execute their idea or get a product to the marketplace.
Ron’s experience with the two startups lead him to the work he has been doing for the past ten years – working with owners, CEOs and entrepreneurs on what he describes as “creating aligned action.” The idea behind it is that as the CEO, you are ultimately responsible for creating and sustaining coordinated efforts and actions of every single person within your company. When you don’t have that aligned action, it creates all sorts of challenges and problems and ineffectiveness.
On this episode, Ron explains the 4 elements of the art of aligned action. Listen in to find out how getting all of these elements to properly align can become an expression of a creative spirit that flows through you and the organization into the marketplace. Find out how you can figure out whether you’re out of alignment within your organization. Don’t miss this important episode!
